While beautiful beaches are one reason to find places to visit in Chile, there is so much more to this country that warrants investigation.

1# Cathedral of San Marcos:

This is a must see for those who also enjoy visiting the Eiffel Tower. It is always interesting to note that both of these stunning structures were designed by the very same person. It is located in Arica.

2# Baquedano Street:

Baquedano Street is a tourist attraction where those visiting Chile have the chance to see some old style streets, and walk around on cobblestone while they enjoy the old western atmosphere of the region. Souvenirs can be purchased here as well and participate in the many other activities that are part of this amazing country.

3# Zofri:

Zofri, a duty free zone in the heart of Iquique is a favorite spot for visitors to do their shopping.

Rancaua’s Reserva Nacional Rio Los Cipreses provides a wonderful camping experience after you have enjoyed your time spend in the thermal baths. Places to visit in Chile should also include the mining town of Sewell.
