The illuminated and daubed exterior of these monasteries is the main attraction of Romania. These monasteries were built in 15th and 16th centuries. The purpose of building the monasteries was to put an imagination of the Bible and the lives of Orthodox saints in images. The outstanding work of art, stunning blend of colors and flamboyant outline of the monasteries brews perfectly with the surrounding panorama. The monasteries are named Arbore, Humor, Voronet, Moldovita, Sucevita and Putna. There are medieval churches too that make this place extravagantly splendid.

The place is full of narrow lanes, outdoor cafes, Great Square that leads to palaces and cobblestone streets with vivid homes.

04. Brașov:

The favored destination of Central Romania is the Brasov County which is home to Brans Castle and Rasnov Castle. This place is surrounded by forest hills on either side and one would see a huge board that has “Brasov” written exactly like “Hollywood”. The major attractions of Brasov are the Council Square, St Nicholas Church, Brasov Fortress and the Black church – which is a must-visit. The Bran Castle holds up an exciting story of Dracula which can be experienced and witnessed live only when you visit the place. Standing high on a 200 ft rock, the castle is easily accessible and takes you through narrow passages, staircases and underground channels.
